Miners’ Di Lullo named SIJHL Play It Again Sports player of the week

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Thursday that English River Miners forward Michael Di Lullo has been named its Play It Again Sports player of the week, for the period ending Dec. 20, which includes the final two games of the 2017 portion of the regular season schedule.

In a trio of English River victories in the time frame, the 19-year-old Edmonton, Alta., product had points in each of them helping the Miners move back to .500 in the SIJHL standings.

In all, Di Lullo collected five assists in those trio of triumphs helping him reach a point-per-game pace in league play so far, this season with 24 in as many outings having scored 10 times while helping set-up 14 others.

Through his first 79 SIJHL contests the English River assistant captain has accumulated 66 points, including 26 goals.

Also earning consideration for SIJHL Play It Again Sports player of the week honours were the following:
