Fort Frances Lakers (SIJHL)

Ethan Brekke has agreed to come to the Lakers this season. Ethan is a 6'2" defenseman from Detroit Lakes, MN. If you got the chance to see Ethan in our prospect camp you saw his skating ability, puck moving skills and a solid shot from the point. Once Ethan adjusts to the speed difference of Junior hockey he will be a good one we feel on our back end.
 
Mason Meyer has also signed with the team. Mason is a slick skating, skilled forward from I'Falls, MN and we are very happy to have him become a Laker and want to stay home to start his Junior career in a Laker uniform. We believe Mason will help our offensive attack as he makes the adjustment to Junior A and hope he helps pack the building with local support from both sides of the border.
