THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League has announced that tonight’s contest (Saturday, Jan. 18) between the Fort Frances Lakers and Red Lake Miners at Cochenour Arena has been postponed.
With heavy snow and high winds ongoing in the region as well as extremely poor road conditions, which has resulted in highway closures, the decision was made to call off the game.
A make-up date for this match-up will be announced by the SIJHL once it is finalized.
