THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League has announced the postponement of tonight’s regular season contest (Tuesday, December 5) between the Fort Frances Lakers and English River Miners at Cochenour Arena.
The cause of the postponement is due to blizzard-like conditions in the area along with the closure of Highway 105 by the Ontario Provincial Police as the roads have been deemed unsafe for travel under the current weather pattern.
A make-up date for this game will be announced by the SIJHL once it is finalized.
