The Fort Frances Lakers have signed three returnees for the 2017-18 season; Defenseman Connor Keith, Forward Jack Bernie and Forward Cody Merritt.
Cody is a player who works extremely hard to make himself better both on and off the ice. We will look to expand Cody’s role this season on our team and hope he comes back hungry to build off his first season of Junior hockey. It’s good to see Cody back in a Lakers uniform.
We are pleased to have Jack Bernie return to our 2017-18 roster. Jack will return for his third season with the Lakers. Jack can play several different roles with our team and his development continues to grow in the Lakers uniform. Jack will be looked at to become more of a leader this season and help change the culture of the team back to the way Lakers Hockey can be played.
We are happy to announce the return of Defenseman, Connor Keith. Connor was our Rookie of the Year last season and a player that improved immensely on our back end and to play a key role for us all season. We are hoping Connor is working hard this summer to continue his growth as a player and returns hungry to not only improve his game but help our team have a bounce back season. We look forward to seeing Connor at the end of August at Main Camp.
