The Fort Frances Lakers travelled down highway 502 to take on the Dryden Ice Dogs in game one of three games to come in the SIJHL’s 2012 schedule.
Patrick Sofer’s two goal night, his 3rd goal in his past two games lead the Lakers in a 6-4 victory.
Jameson Shortreed stopped 27 of 31 shots he faced picking up the win.
The 2nd game of 3 will see the Lakers against the Ice Dogs Friday November 2nd at 7:30pm at the IFK arena.
