SIJHL announces venue switch and game change

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced an upcoming venue switch as well as a game date change.

This Friday’s contest (Oct. 27) between the Canadian Junior Hockey League No. 1 ranked Thief River Falls Norskies and the Fort Frances Lakers, originally slated for Cardin-Hunt Ice Arena in Red Lake Falls, Minn., will now be played back at the home of the Norskies, Ralph Engelstad Arena, in Thief River Falls, Minn.

Started time in that match-up remains the same at 7 p.m. CT.

Meanwhile the league also announced that SIJHL Game No. 86 scheduled for Wednesday, December 20 at Hoyt Lakes Arena between Thief River Falls and the host Minnesota Iron Rangers will now be held on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. in Hoyt Lakes.
