Three New Lakers Signed

We are pleased to announce the signing of three new Lakers; Mitch Kocsis, Anthony Antonelli and Zach Pierce.

Mitch Kocsis is from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  He comes to us after playing the last two seasons with the Cheyenne Stampede of the WSHL.  He is a mature player who has strong character. He understands what it takes to play at this level and has an endless work ethic. Mitch will bring a veteran presence to our team and we are glad to have him join the program.

Defenseman Anthony Antonelli is from the PAL Jr. Islanders of the USPHL.  He is a strong skating defenseman who we hope can bring skill to our back end. He has a couple years experience in Junior now so he can add some experience to our line up. We look forward to having Anthony as a part of our organization in late August.
Forward Zach Pierce is from the Richmond Generals of the USPHL.
Zach is a big bodied player who plays both ends of the rink hard. He has an extremely high competative level which makes him tough to play against. We will also look for him to add secondary scoring to the line up and be a strong penalty kill player. We are pleased to have Zach joining our program.
