FIRST STAR 🌟
ASHTON SADAUSKAS, KAM RIVER FIGHTING WALLEYE

Sadauskas protected the Kam River net in both games against Thunder Bay, facing 77 shots over two games and collecting two big wins over the Lakehead rivals. After a 3-1 road win on Friday, the Walleye, backed by Sadauskas (Parksville, BC), completed the sweep at home, 6-3, on Saturday. With the pair of wins, Sadauskas now leads the league’s goaltenders in total wins.
SECOND STAR ⭐️⭐️
TRENT BORYSZCZUK, IRONWOOD LUMBERJACKS
GP: 2 ⋅ RECORD: 1-1-0 ⋅ SAVE%: 0.952 ⋅ SAVES: 100
105 shots faced this weekend. Only 5 found their way past Boryszczuk. On Friday, the Lumberjacks fell 3-1 in Sioux Lookout, with Boryszczuk facing 47 shots and turning away 44. On Saturday, the shots continued. Boryszczuk faced 58 shots, allowing just 2 goals, en route to an Ironwood road victory, 3-2, over Sioux Lookout. The Novi, MI native improves to 2-1-1 with the Lumberjacks this season.

GUNNER PARADIS, FORT FRANCiS LAKERS
GP: 1 ⋅ RECORD: 0-0-1 ⋅ SAVE%: 0.971 ⋅ SAVES: 66
Paradis played one game this weekend, but he faced enough shots for two. Paradis got the nod on Saturday night in Dryden for the Lakers, coming off a 4-2 home loss on Friday. On Saturday in Dryden, the Thunder Bay, ON native faced 68 shots, allowing just 2 goals en route to a tie with the league’s top team.
