2019 EMO FAIR
The Lakers Cooks will once again be serving up delicious eats at the 2019 Emo Fall Fair Food Booth!  August 15-17, 2019, Emo, ON.   400 Club Tickets will be available for the 2019-20 season – $50.00 (27 opportunities to win case prizes throughout the season)

2019 FATHER’S DAY DRAW

The 2019 Lakers Awards Banquet was held on Saturday, March 16, 2019.  Awards recipients are:

SKATE WITH THE LAKERS
The Lakers held a fan appreciation Skate with the Lakers on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the IFK Arena.  Participants came out and had some fun on the ice with their favorite players and enjoyed snacks and hot chocolate!

Lakers Food and Toy Drive

ORANGE SHIRT DAY AT THE UNITED NATIVE FRIENDSHIP CENTRE
Presten Bobyk and Kaleb Bruyere attended and helped out at the United Native Friendship Centre’s Orange Shirt Day Event on Sunday, September 30, 2018.   Orange Shirt Day is a National Event to recognize Residential School Survivors and honour the children who didn’t survive.

Lakers and volunteers have been working hard to fill orders for our homemade perogies.

 

HUMBOLDT BRONCOS – WE PLAY FOR THEM 
As a part of the nation-wide tribute to the Humboldt Broncos, the Fort Frances Lakers raised a memorial banner at our season opener on Friday, September 28, 2018.  The banner will remain in the IFK Arena throughout the season.
