Colton Spicer to make OHL debut with Sudbury Wolves

The Sudbury Wolves will be welcoming one of the team’s top prospects this weekend when 17 year old forward COLTON SPICER makes his OHL debut with the Sudbury Wolves.   The 6’1″, 185 lb winger leads his team, the Fort Frances Lakers, in scoring with 20 goals in 26 games.  In his last two games played in a SIJHL Showcase tournament in Duluth, Minnesota, Spicer recorded 5 goals and 1 assist. Spicer will join his Wolves team for the next 10 days as the Wolves will be without forward Dominik Kahun who is playing for Team Germany in the World Jr Championships in Ufa, Russia.  Spicer will return to Fort Frances on January 7th to complete his season in the SIJHL.  “I am very excited about this opportunity to play for the Sudbury Wolves and I look forward to playing any role the coaching staff wants me to play” notes Spicer.   The Wolves will be looking for Spicer to bring a physical presence along with goal-scoring skills to their line-up.
