Lakers 12th in CJHL preseason rankings

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced their Pointstreak preseason rankings for the upcoming 2015-16 campaign and one Superior International Junior Hockey League clubs garnered recognition.

The two-time defending SIJHL Bill Salonen Cup champion Fort Frances Lakers were ranked 12th overall nationally in the initial listing for the upcoming campaign.

The following is the Pointstreak CJHL preseason top 20 rankings and five honourable mention teams for the 2015-16:

The Pointstreak CJHL preseason rankings are based upon a variety of factors which includes the league in which the teams belong to, last season’s results in regular season and playoffs as well as initial recruiting efforts for the upcoming season.

The Pointstreak CJHL Top 20 Weekly Rankings will begin on Sept. 28.
