FORT FRANCES, ON – The Fort Frances Lakers are pleased to announce a trade with the MJHL’s Niverville Nighthawks. The Lakers have acquired forward Cobe Delaney in exchange for a player development fee.
The 6’0, 194-pound forward from La Ronge SK spent last season with the La Ronge Ice Wolves of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL), posting 10 points in 29 games.
“Players from the SJHL have had a lot of success in our league, and we don’t anticipate that Cobe will be any different,” said Lakers General Manager, Luke Judson. “We’re looking forward to adding an impact player to our lineup.”
