Lakers acquire trio

The Fort Frances Lakers would like to announce the following roster changes:

– return of Lucas Debenedet from the Minot Minotauros of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).  Lucas was drafted in the 3rd round during the off season and played in only 5 games of Minot’s 14 games thus far, acquiring 2 points.

– acquisition of A.J. Kapcheck from the Flin Flon Bombers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) for a player development fee.  The 20 year old defenceman, who hails from Mount Pleasant, Illiionois, played the 2013/14 season with the Bombers acquiring 3 goals, 15 assists with 18 penalty minutes in 52 games played.

– acquisition of Dylan Robertson from the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).  Dylan played the 2013/14 season with the Banff Bears of the Heritage Junior Hockey League (HJHL).  The 6’0″ forward played in 33 games for the Bears scoring 26 goals and 33 assists acquiring 65 minutes in penalties.
