Lakers bring back Bryson Jasper in a deal with the Miners.

The Fort Frances Lakers would like to announce the re-acquiring of Bryson Jasper from the English River Miners of the SIJHL for Player Development Fee.

Coach Strachan went on to say, we are very happy to have Bryson back in the line up. It was a tough decision to trade him in the first place and to have the opportunity to add him at this time is good for our hockey team. Bryson can bring some different things to the line up he plays with energy, some grit and obviously can help on the offensive side of things. We look to have Bryson in the line up Wed. night at home vs. the Iron Rangers.

In the last week we have had the following transactions….
Jan. 2 – trade of forward Torrin Grange to the Elliot Lake Bobcats – NOJHL
Jan. 2 – signing of defenseman Cam Jackson from Gustavus University
Jan. 6 – acquisition of Ryan McQueen from the Neepawa Natives – MJHL
Jan. 7 – acquisition of Bryson Jasper from the English River Miners – SIJHL
