FORT FRANCES, ON – The Fort Frances Lakers will host their first home game of the 2023-24 season this Friday September 29 against the defending SIJHL champion Kam River Fighting Walleye.
To recognize National Truth and Reconciliation Week, the Lakers are requesting that fans wear orange to the game. Every fan wearing orange will receive $5 entry. The Lakers have also partnered with Weechi-it-te-win Family Services to offer FREE orange shirts to the first 150 fans through the doors.
Prior to the game on Friday, the Lakers will participate in the Every Child Matters Community Awareness Walk beginning at 10:00am at the Sorting Gap Marina.
