Lakers Make Trade Deadline Moves

The Fort Frances Lakers would like to announce the following transactions…..   Acquisitions of……….   Cody Antonini from the Pembroke Lumber Kings of the CCHL for future considerations.  Cody is a good skater who makes good hard passes and will help our transition game.  He understands his position and plays a good positional game in his defensive zone.  Cody will add more depth to our defensive core and make us deeper on the back end.  He will play in Tuesday nights game against the English River Miners   Roshen Jaswal from the Rochester Jr. Americans of the USPHL Premier for future considerations.  Roshen also is a defenceman that will make us deeper on the back end.  He is a big body player who plays with an edge, has good skills and will add a good shot from our back end.  We are hoping to get him here asap to be in the line up.   Nolan Ross for future considerations.  Nolan comes to us from the Portage Terriers and will make us deeper up front.  He is a good skater with good skills and can play center or left wing.  He is a good 200 ft player and will add some offence to our line up.  He is now home and with the team.     Deletions from the line up………….   Goalie Devin Tappenden traded to the Minnesota Iron Rangers for a player development fee.
Defenceman Aaron Wesley-Chisel traded to the Thunder Bay North Stars for a player development fee.
