FORT FRANCES, ON – The Fort Frances Lakers final regular-season home game will take place on Saturday, March 9 against the Sioux Lookout Bombers. This game will see the Lakers partner with the Border Skating Club to host 90’s Night.
The event will feature a special performance by the Border Skating Club following the first intermission, and 90’s-themed giveaways for the first 30 youth through the doors. The Lakers will be playing all your favourite tunes from the 90’s throughout the game.
“We had such a great reception when the Border Skating Club performed during our Eras Night back in November,” said Fort Frances Lakers General Manager, Luke Judson. “It’s great to be able to use our platform to promote sporting organizations and athletes in our community that are doing great work. We are excited to welcome them back and can’t wait to see their performance.”
March 9 will be the last game of the season to utilize any youth single-game passes received at Lakers events this year. Doors open at 6:00pm.
