The Lakers announced today they have signed Miles Nolan to another season. The forward came to the Lakers last season to play with his brother Jacob Nolan.
Miles played 39 games for the Lakers last season picking up 4 goals and 11 assists for 15 points. The Lakers will be looking to Miles to use his experience from last season to increase his contribution on and off the ice on a daily basis.
Head Coach and General Manager Wayne Strachan said he is looking for Miles to build off his rookie campaign. Strachan said last season Miles was a checking centre that was used on the penalty kill. Strachan and the Lakers coaching staff are hoping Miles can have a breakout season offensively, much like his last year in AAA Midget.
