Tuesday’s Dryden at Fort Frances game postponed

THUNDER BAY, Ont. –  The Superior International Junior Hockey League has announced that Tuesday’s scheduled game between the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and Fort Frances Lakers at Ice for Kids Arena has been postponed.

The reason for the postponement comes after four members of the Ice Dogs were involved in a motor vehicle accident early Monday evening in Dryden when the car they were riding in was rear-ended by another vehicle.

All four players suffered minor injuries, and as a precaution, were not cleared by doctors to play this evening.

The SIJHL elected to postpone the game as the Dryden roster is already compromised due to existing injuries prior to Monday’s accident.

The SIJHL would like to thank the Fort Frances Lakers for their cooperation regarding the postponement and the game will be re-scheduled to a later date.
