The Fort Frances Lakers announce the trade of Ben Smaha and Bryson Jasper to the English River Miners for the playing rights of Colton Spicer.
Colton was moved to Portage in the off-season and then was dealt to the English River Miners last Sunday. The opportunity presented itself to bring him back and after a few days of talking about it with our staff, Colton and the Miners the trade was finalized Wednesday afternoon. Colton brings the obvious scoring touch, he plays a physical game and adds further depth to our forward core. Look for Colton to dawn a Lakers jersey this weekend on the road vs. the Wilderness and North Stars.
