Lakers would like to announce the following trades….
F – Donovan Cousineau from the Portage Terriers – Donovan is here and has skated this morning and we hope he will be in the line up tomorrow night.
When the chance to bring Donovan home came to light it was a no brainer for us. He will add another forward who has experience, strengthen our forward core and bring a hometown pressence to the rink. He is a player who has had many big games in the IFK arena and we hope that stays true to form. Once he gets his feet wet in the line up and system we believe Donovan will be a big piece to the puzzle for us this season.
F – Brent Aiken from the Winkler Flyers – Brent is a rookie this season who played with the Kenora Thistles the last two seasons we feel Brent will bring a fierce competitive edge to our team. Brent has the ability to play many roles once he adapts to the Junior game and will add more depth to us up front. We hope to have him here asap to be in the line up.
